We're Online

For those who know of Toastmasters, it comes as no surprise that clubs around the world are joining social media. Blarney Toastmasters currently has a blog/website, Twitter account, and Facebook page. Even easier to get to know what we do and perhaps sometime soon you’ll come join us offline at one of our regular meetings. But until then, here’s where you can see us online:

Now, why have I never seen this layout on my Mac before?

The Blarney Toastmasters Club has formed a regular component in my life ever since I joined over ten years ago. For painless education, good humour, challenges and comradeship, its great. This Club helped me to overcome my erroneous opinion that, from birth, I was a superb orator. Blarney Toastmasters helped me through the transition and now, at last, I am almost what I thought I was before I joined BTM. Next step? Correct the conceit tendency.

I didn’t know what to expect when I joined Toastmasters, but I figured I had nothing to lose, & the ability to speak or make a presentation to a group (large or small) would always be useful.
I found that Toastmasters is in fact great fun, a great night out, and I made a great bunch of people.
    But did I learn anything?
I can say without hesitation, that what I have learned in Toastmasters has opened many doors for me.
    Inside & Out.

Re your previous comment: Please give details of how you “made a great bunch of people.” at Blarney Toastmasters. Curious. Victor
