I am the Topics Master for the next meeting on 13th March and I want try something a little different. That night there is going to be a “Show and Tell” topics session so I would like all Toastmasters to bring along an item on which they can talk for no more than 2 minutes. It can be anything, animate or inanimate, but it should have a story associated with it! This may be the time for any of you new members to make your first comments as you have the opportunity to prepare a very short speech.
I am looking forward to hearing your tales.
Sample an enjoyable and enlightening evening with Blarney Toastmasters. All are welcome. A great opportunity to meet current members and find out what Blarney Toastmasters is about. Free to attend.
Come at 7:45 p.m. to Blarney Woollen Mills Hotel in Blarney, Co. Cork.
MIn just a few weeks, Blarney Toastmasters meetings resume. As always, all the members are looking forward to seeing one another again, meeting new guests and potential members, and getting back to building our speaking skills (while having a bit of fun). The next two meetings will be held at Blarney Woollen Mills Hotel in Blarney, Co. Cork on Tuesday the 13th and Tuesday the 27th. All other future dates are listed in our BTM calendar.
This site has seen a few improvements over the summer, including the addition of Twitter and Facebook links in the sidebar and we are adding brief introductions and testimonials so you can get to know Our Members.
As always, we welcome new members and guests to all our club meetings. Check the calendar for a date that works for you and don’t be shy, we’re a friendly bunch. Guests attend for free and are not required to participate. It is a worthwhile opportunity to get to know the structure of our meetings and the enjoyable approach we take to improving our public speaking and presentation skills. If you wish to attend a meeting, but want to be in touch with someone first, simply contact us.
